Wool2Ewe -Climate Smart Programme

The Wool2Ewe Climate Smart Programme  is available to  Primary and Secondary schools who are interested in finding out about the properties of wool and benefits on our planet, why wool is important to climate change: create less waste, use more sustainable materials, explore farm to fabric and investigate wool.

It supports the Social, Environmental and Scientific Education (SESE) as well as the Arts Education, Visual arts curriculum and the Fabric and Fibre strand of the Art Curriculum.

The programme included: 

• Wool2Ewe Climate-Smart Kit with textiles and wool.

• Posters.

• Online lessons and resources. Climate smart lessons.

Children also learned how to knit and crafted slippers, sweatbands, scarves and Christmas decorations.
